چکیده
This study successfully developed a positively charged silver nanocomplex as nanocarrier for chlorhexidine (CHX) using ionic liquids. can interestingly deliver the antibacterial agent with synergistic effect. In this study, we synthetized and characterized (AgNPs+) CHX-loaded nanoparticles (CHX@AgNPs+) UV-visible spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffractometer, Fourier transform infrared Zetasizer. Then, loading efficiency release profile of XHX from were evaluated. The activity was evaluated by employing two standard microdilution tests to obtain minimum bactericidal inhibitory concentrations. average sizes 27.43 nm 29.66 obtained AgNPs+ CHX@AgNPs+, respectively. CHX@AgNPs+ showed constant CHX, making them more effective against Enterococcus faecalis (E. faecalis) than CHX or alone. Antibacterial assays that significantly reduced viability bacterial strain compared irrigant. had an effect similar only at intermediate concentrations (12 25 μg/mL), their effects less those other (3, 6, 50, 100 μg/mL). statistically greater all tested. MIC values 50 μg/mL. However, not value tested Therefore, designed be regarded potential root canal disinfectant clinical applications infections.

Comparison of the Antibacterial Efficacy of Alexidine and Chlorhexidine Against Enterococcus Faecalis: An in Vitro Study
Introduction Root canal irrigants play an important role in reducing intracanal microorganisms, which in turn helps in achieving a successful outcome for the root canal treatment. Objective To compare the antibacterial efficacy of alexidine and chlorhexidine against Enterococcus faecalis. Methods A total of 50 extracted single-rooted teeth were randomly divided into five groups after being infe...
متن کاملEvaluation of antibacterial efficacy of Chitosan, Chlorhexidine, Propolis and Sodium hypochlorite on Enterococcus faecalis biofilm : An in vitro study
BACKGROUND Long term successful root canal treatment requires effective debridement and disinfection of root canal system. Persistent periradicular lesions are usually associated with Enterococccus faecalis. Prompt research for natural alternatives for irrigation is mainly due to the constant increase in antibiotic resistant strains and side effects caused by synthetic drugs. Sodium hypochlorit...
متن کاملAn In Vitro Study on the Effects of Nisin on the Antibacterial Activities of 18 Antibiotics against Enterococcus faecalis
Enterococcus faecalis rank among the leading causes of nosocomial infections worldwide and possesses both intrinsic and acquired resistance to a variety of antibiotics. Development of new antibiotics is limited, and pathogens continually generate new antibiotic resistance. Many researchers aim to identify strategies to effectively kill this drug-resistant pathogen. Here, we evaluated the effect...
متن کاملthe effects of changing roughness on the flow structure in the bends
flow in natural river bends is a complex and turbulent phenomenon which affects the scour and sedimentations and causes an irregular bed topography on the bed. for the reason, the flow hydralics and the parameters which affect the flow to be studied and understand. in this study the effect of bed and wall roughness using the software fluent discussed in a sharp 90-degree flume bend with 40.3cm ...
